Dovetail Boxes

These simple boxes use grain orientation and contrasting timber to give the form a lift. These are to be a gift and part of the story will be orientating ourselves. The boxes can be arranged in such a way that the grain flows from one end to the other on the front, lid and back.

All joinery is by hand and the boxes are finished with a coat of sanding sealer only to prevent the yellowing of ash.
